June 15 at 1 p.m. SUMMER READING KICKOFF EVENT 

All are invited to our outdoor kickoff event! There will be outdoor activities and indoor scavenger hunts, yummy treats, and more! Register for the Summer Reading Program and receive a small incentive gift.

June 15-July 10: ARCHAEOLOGY DIG 

Teens and adults can join the Old Jailhouse Dig at the History Center across the street for a day dig! Space is limited. For more information, contact Diane.

June 18 at 2 p.m. TEENS AS TEACHERS: CHAINMAILLE 

One of our teen patrons will teach how to create the box/queen’s chain to make into a keychain (or a number of other items!). If there is time, other techniques will be taught.

June 23 at 2 p.m. AIR DRY CLAY DRAGON EYE 

Come and create a dragon eye with clay and your choice of plastic eye.

June 30 at 2 p.m. CRYPTOGRAPHY & CODEBREAKING 

Learn about the Enigma Code of World War II and how it was solved. Then learn more about codes and cyphers and create your own.

July 1 at 2 p.m. CLAY WOODLAND SCENE 

Make a miniature woodland scene with moss and clay items in an Altoids tin.

July 17 at 1 p.m. NATIONAL TREASURE SHOWING 

Come watch a movie all about unearthing a story! While this is primarily for students in grades 6-12, everyone is welcome. Rated PG.  Snacks will be provided.

July 21 at 2 p.m. ROCK BINGO 

Play rock bingo and win rocks, gems, minerals, and fossils! Limited to 12 players. First come, first served.

July 30 at 2 p.m. PEBBLE ART 

Create a piece of art using stones and other natural items.
